MUM & BUBS STRENGTH TRAINING

IS THIS FOR YOU?

Our Mums & Bubs Strength Training sessions are open to mums from eight weeks postpartum.

If you're between 8–12 weeks postpartum, a physiotherapy clearance is required to ensure you're ready to train safely. A physiotherapy referral or handover is encouraged so we can personalise your progress.

Whether you bring your baby or come solo, you're welcome!

WHY JOIN?

Train in a supportive, mum-focused community dedicated to rebuilding strength and confidence after birth. Our programming is intentionally designed to:

  • Rebuild posture and back muscles

  • Strengthen the core and lower back

  • Activate and grow your glutes

You’ll feel stronger, more capable, and more confident in your movement.

CLASS SCHEDULE

Additionally, "Mums Open Gym" sessions are available:

  • Mondays & Wednesdays – A chance for mums to train together and support one another while rotating care of the babies.

FRIDAYS: 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM (with Gina)

MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS

  • Option 1: $32/week
    Mums & Bubs Strength – 1x coached session/week

  • Option 2: $42/week
    FUNC "Open + 1" – Unlimited Open Gym + 1x coached session/week (regular FUNC)

  • Option 3: $52/week
    FUNC "BASE" – Unlimited Open Gym + 2x coached sessions/week (regular FUNC)

Frequently asked questions:

  • Yes. If you’re between 8–12 weeks postpartum, a clearance from your physiotherapist is required.

    This helps us understand your recovery (such as abdominal separation and pelvic floor condition) to support your progress safely.

  • Yes, but toddlers must remain close to you at all times in a carrier, pram, or playpen for safety.

    As they become more mobile, supervision becomes even more important in the gym environment.

  • If Gina can't make the Friday coached session, the program will still be available as an open gym group session. You can either:

    • Join a different FUNC coached session that week, or

    • (For Option 1 members) Pause billing for the week if you’re not attending another class.

  • Yes, you can suspend your membership in advance. The minimum suspension period is 2 weeks.

    If you're away for just one week, you're welcome to make up your coached session before or after your absence within the fortnight.

  • If you miss a session, you're welcome to book into any other FUNC session during the same fortnight (without bub) to make up for it.
